Summary

Rolling Hills is a beautiful residential community on the eastern side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Many residences in this gated community have stables and equestrian facilities due to the city’s extensive horse trail system. Weather here is typically much warmer than other areas of the Peninsula, and the community is filled with native wildlife and open space among the residential neighborhoods. The entire city is private property and spans just under 700 homes.

Schools

The Palos Verdes Unified School District (PVPUSD) produces some of the highest test scores in the state. While home address determines what elementary and middle school students attend, high school enrollment is open to the whole Peninsula, and students in the PVPUSD are able to make their own decision on where they’d like to attend.

Shopping and Entertainment

The Promenade of the Peninsula and The Peninsula Center, located in Rolling Hills Estates, are both just a short drive outside the Rolling Hills gates.

Parks and Recreation

Rolling Hills is an equestrian community, with a variety of horseback riding trails throughout the city. A community pool and tennis courts are also located within the gates.
