Schools

The Redondo Beach Unified School District produces generally high test scores as compared to the rest of the state. It consists of eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, one continuation school, and one adult school.

Shopping and Entertainment

South Bay Galleria is Redondo Beach’s premier shopping mall. Complete with a movie theater, multiple restaurants, and stores, it’s the place to go for a little retail therapy. Riviera Village is a six-block radius filled with a unique collection of clothing and gift shops, restaurants and cafes as well as professional offices to fulfill any need. The views of the Pacific Ocean and the cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula are unmatched here.

Parks and Recreation

The Redondo Beach Pier is the pinnacle of recreational activity in Redondo Beach. It’s home to several seafood restaurants and tourist shops and is shaped like a horse shoe. Many Redondo Beach residents enjoy fishing along the pier. King’s Harbor is a recreational boating marina located just north of the Redondo Beach Pier. Many fine dining restaurants are located here as well. 14 public parks stationed throughout Redondo Beach make for easy access to baseball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and more.
