The Hermosa Pier and surrounding establishments on Pier Avenue make up the majority of the shopping experience in Hermosa Beach. Restaurants, bars, shops, and boutiques line the pier and Pier Avenue, making for an eclectic selection of shopping, eating, and entertainment options.

Hermosa Beach has numerous parks with various amenities like playgrounds, exercise facilities, grassy areas, sports fields / courts, and more. The beach itself though, is the true gem of the city. Many residents spend their days lounging by the glistening water or biking along the Strand that connects all of the beach cities together.
